EHV programme is being conducted in Mullaitivu since 2013 for selected school children who are good in their studies coming from families having financial difficulties. Children from Grade 6 to Grade 13 are selected and EHV classes are held at the Sai Center in Thanneeruttu and in a School in Puthukodiyiruppu once a month. These children are also provided financial assistance to cover their educational expenses. This year a new batch of students were taken and currently 300 children follow this program.
