In the Central Region, service was carried out by Sri Sathya Sai Centres of Hatton, Senkadagala, Nawalapitiya and Kandy to support families affected by floods and earthslips. Service was rendered at shelters at Rasindevi Vidyalaya and the Community Centre in Nagastanna, Kandy, as well as St. Mary’s Church and Amman Kovil. Altogether, 175 warm lunches, and 185 dry ration family packs were distributed ensuring timely nourishment. In addition, the SSE students of Sri Sathya Sai Centre - Hatton served families in Rothes Estate and Pannmur Estate by distributing 15 dinner packets on 28 November 2025 and 20 dinner packets on 30 November 2025, totalling 35 dinner packets, offered with love and compassion.
Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Thalawakele is continuing relief service by supporting the Bearwell Garden shelter and the local hospital through the provision of cooked meals, dry rations, and children’s clothing. The service began with assistance to five families and is being gradually extended as needs are assessed among more families affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
Furthermore, joint service was carried out by Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Kandy with Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Colombo at Rasindevi Vidyalaya – Nagastena, Suduhumpola Community Centre, and Urugala Estate Division, Uduwela, through the distribution of 190 dry ration family packs.
