On 09 December 2025, with Bhagawan’s grace, Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Colombo identified 15 mothers and their children from Tudella West who had previously sought refuge at the Mother of Refuge Church due to the floods. These families had been lovingly served on two earlier occasions - first through the distribution of 500 cooked food parcels, and later 1,000 blankets, offering timely support during the peak of the crisis.
As the families have now gradually returned to their flood-damaged homes to begin rebuilding their lives, the mothers and children were once again supported with essential relief items to help them through this difficult transition. This continued service reflected care beyond immediate relief, accompanying families as they take their first steps toward recovery.
